MARTA Public Meetings Scheduled
MARTA has scheduled a series of very important public meetings and requests your participation. The agency is conducting a study to re-examine its current system. MARTA has named the study MOVE which stands for "Making Operations Very Efficient." Why MOVE? Because it is what MARTA does. MARTA's core business is moving people throughout its service area and, with other partners, throughout the region.
The study will identify and propose actions to address several issues related to operations and customer friendliness. The operations that will be examined include bus, rail and paratransit service. The goal of the study is to develop strategies that will improve MARTA service, increase ridership and be more responsive to its customers. This is an opportunity to help MARTA develop solutions.
Eleven meetings are scheduled for the public to provide input on MARTA's existing conditions and to learn more about the study. All meetings are open to the public and you may attend any one that meets your schedule.
